What is Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef?
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most crucial ecosystems on the planet, but it is threatened by climate change and nature loss. Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef invites you to join the Great Reef Census to help protect this iconic natural wonder.
Participants learn about the current state of the Great Barrier Reef, ongoing conservation efforts, and help scientists identify/protect key areas through the Great Reef Census. Through image analysis, volunteers contribute crucial data on reef health, aiding conservation efforts.
