What is Disaster Relief?
WeHero in partnership with global relief organizations works with companies to mobilize employees as first responders to international crises and natural disasters around the world.
Our partners respond to crises in over 30 countries by delivering emergency health care, providing training, and offering health related services to those affected by natural disasters, conflict, famine and disease, no matter the location or conditions.
Your team will participate in hygiene care package assembly. These packages include items that most of us take for granted including soap, tissues, dental hygiene items, and more with supplies specifically sourced for the disaster in response.
Whether you’re participating remotely, in-person, or virtually with the live event - we will kick off with a keynote from WeHero offering context for where these care packages are going and why this work is so important. Activities are also included to put volunteers in the shoes of those affected.
