What is Helping Hands?
The World Health Organization estimates that 40 million amputees in under resourced nations lack access to prosthetic care. The Ellen Meadows Prosthetic Hand Foundation designs low-cost, light, durable, and functional prosthetic hands for anyone in need.

Participants will gain insight into the challenges faced by amputees and will build prosthetic hands that will empower individuals in over 80 countries. Designed by the Ellen Meadows Prosthetic Hand Foundation, these prosthetic hands are low-cost, lightweight, durable, and functional. They provide essential support for those in need and help reclaim their independence.
