What is Knot Alone?
Each year, millions children are hospitalized, with 30% battling chronic illnesses that significantly disrupt their lives, both academically and socially. Hospital stays can be an overwhelming and isolating experience, leaving children in need of comfort, reassurance, and support during these challenging times.
Participants will gain insight into the challenges children of all ages face during their hospital stays and learn about the impactful work of Project Linus. They will then create cozy fleece blankets, each with a personal message of encouragement, offering comfort and support to hospitalized children during a difficult time. WeHero provides all materials, packaging, prepaid shipping labels, and supplies.
