We are facing a growing literacy crisis. Today in the United States, more than 30 million adults cannot read or write above a third-grade level. Studies have repeatedly shown that books in children's hands have a meaningful impact on improving literacy.
The more books in or near the home, the more likely a child will learn and love to read. But two out of three children living in poverty have no books to call their own.
We are coming together to increase access to books in high-need areas. Little Free Library book-sharing boxes are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day and are freely accessible to all, removing barriers to book access.
We want to champion diverse books and voices to promote understanding, empathy, and inclusion. Groups of 4-6 participants will create a Little Free Library with design and decoration to be displayed in the community.
We work alongside the world's best nonprofits and manage every aspect of the volunteer experience. We deliver impact and create memories for years to come.
In-Office/Venue Pricing: $600.00/library (recommended 4-6 participants per library)
