What is Pride Packs?
The LGBTQ community frequently faces discrimination, particularly in housing. LGBTQ individuals are significantly overrepresented among the homeless population. Many struggle to find support services due to harassment in shelters, which makes them feel uncomfortable and unsafe when seeking help.
Teams come together to assemble care packages with vital items and supportive messages for LGBTQ+ individuals experiencing housing insecurity. Through this experience, not only are we providing critical support but also fosters deeper awareness and empathy for this often marginalized community.
Each person assembles items such toothpaste and soap, along with a letter of support. The Impact Tracker below automatically updates based on your group size and can be customized for your event.
