What is Raise The Woof?
Approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter U.S. shelters each year, spending countless hours waiting for their forever homes. During this time, they need toys and enrichment to stay active and engaged. Unfortunately, many store-bought tug toys are made from materials that can be harsh on animals’ teeth, potentially leading to dental problems and other health issues, which may impact their chances of adoption.
Participants will create fleece tug toys for shelter animals, providing entertainment and supporting their dental health. Each participant will craft three toys, offering a meaningful way to make a difference for animals in need. Raise The Woof focuses on making fleece tug toys that are both safe and beneficial for dogs' teeth.
