What is Rethink Plastic?
Plastic pollution is a significant environmental issue, with projections indicating more plastic than fish in the ocean by 2050. Only 9% of the world’s plastic is recycled.
Participants will explore the impact of plastic pollution on our health and the environment while discovering practical solutions to reduce their reliance on plastic. Volunteers will also assemble plastic-free kitchen packs to donate to individuals in community housing. For each participant, a donation is made to Plastic Oceans to support global efforts in combating plastic pollution.
