Each night, 789 million people are plunged into complete darkness due to a lack of access to clean energy. They depend on primitive forms of energy like kerosene, which have devastating impacts on health, economic stability, educational outcomes, and the environment.
Participants will learn about energy poverty and how SolarBuddy’s work supports multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They will assemble solar lights and write messages of encouragement to children living in energy poverty around the world.
