What is The Science of Speed?
Without engaging, hands-on learning opportunities, students often miss the chance to see how science and engineering relate to real-life challenges. This gap disproportionately affects students in under-resourced communities, limiting their exposure to career paths in STEM fields.
Participants will construct jump ramps, creating an interactive STEM experience. These ramps connect abstract STEM principles, like motion and force, to tangible experiences, helping students visualize how engineering applies to the world around them.
