What is Hero Bears?
Deployment. A ten letter word that is almost always associated with the military.
Although deployments are common, they are far from easy to go through, not only for the Service Member who has to be away from their family, but also for the family members who are at home missing them. Military parents selflessly comfort their children in hopes it will ease the adjustment to their “new normal.”
We’re building bears and leaving letters of love for children of those recently deployed. We’ll also learn about the work of Support Military Families and how they’re supporting our responders domestically and abroad.
We ship the entire volunteer experience to your home, office, or other venue along with educational materials, packaging, prepaid shipping labels, and all the needed supplies to build two bears.
