What is Unlock History?
When history isn’t documented, invaluable stories and lessons risk being lost, often silencing marginalized voices. By preserving diverse narratives, we ensure a richer, more inclusive understanding of the past that empowers future generations.
Participants transcribe historical documents, making them accessible to an audience worldwide. The event includes an educational session and the importance of transcription, followed by training and transcription activities.
