Dear WeHero Community - COVID-19

WeHero Community,Our hearts go out to all of those who have been affected by COVID-19 - not only those suffering from the virus but also our small business partners, event planners, CSR professionals, and our nonprofit network suffering from the ripple effects of this pandemic.

A quick note that we have made the decision to postpone all WeHero in-office and out of office volunteer programs until April 15th. We’ll continue to re-evaluate this date as we get more information from the CDC.WeHero has been built around supporting businesses to deliver impact to the most deserving causes. In response to COVID-19, we’ve decided to focus our response efforts on supporting Americares, Feeding America and the Kids in Need Foundation. All three of these nonprofits are on the front lines of supporting those in need. How can you get involved?

• As always, you can download the WeHero Extension which raises money for these non-profits with every tab that you open on Chrome or Firefox. It’s easy, free and delivers impact.
• We’ve also launched WeHero Home, an in-home volunteer experience so companies can support those in need while reaching their social impact goals. Two of these programs will be directly focused on supporting COVID-19 relief efforts nationally with the third program supporting Reforestation. WeHero is actively analyzing the situation every day. Our responsibility is to understand the greatest needs, work with the best companies and nonprofits in the world, and empower millions to support in an easy and effective way.
