As we are one month into our first official Quarterly Campaign, people have been asking us for a bit more information around the genesis of the idea. While the We Are Human campaign may be our first widely marketed campaign, we had previously helped plan and host a charity dinner last April to support The Sankara Eye Foundation. For this event, we invited 40 of our closest friends and family into a completely dark room to enjoy a four-course meal focused on eradicating curable blindness in India. Needless to say, it was a remarkably special event and most importantly, 100% of each guest’s ticket went to provide 5 free eye surgeries. We may have struggled to eat in the dark for two hours, but we provided over 200 people the opportunity to see again. After this experience, we knew it would be impossible for us to stop. What can we say, helping people is addictive. So… what’s next? Well, check out the campaign launch page here, or keep reading for the summary! For the We Are Human campaign we are focusing our efforts on the homeless population in San Francisco and across the United States. We’ve partnered with Glide (a nonprofit organization supporting the homeless in San Francisco) with support from The San Francisco Chronicle to help impact the lives of 7,500 in need. How are we going to do this?
To learn more about all of these opportunities, check out the We Are Human campaign page here. As always, feel free to reach out! We love hearing from our Tribe :)
